What does Peeteli mean to me?

My name is Zarina Zandfelds and I am 30 years old. I met the Peeteli team that became my family for many years, first time when I was 10 years old. Unfortunately, it can be the case that children live in families where economic circumstances are difficult.

Children, especially teenagers, can feel unloved, lonely and as if they are alone in the world. I also experienced all this when I was 10 years old. So did our whole group of kids, we lived in the same neighbourhood, everyone was aggressive and wouldn’t let anyone near them because they didn’t trust people. But the entire Peeteli team – employees, friends from other countries – showed us that this world needs us, that we can be loved, that we are worth caring for, that our opinions and feelings are important, that we are not insignificant. Peeteli gives you the opportunity to become a human being, especially to become emotionally healthy, educated, learn languages, gives you a lot of knowledge that you need in this world to become a successful person. What does Peeteli mean to me? This house has become my hope for a successful future, it is a place that shows that life can be different. That you have a choice in your life, who you are, who you will become! Peeteli just gives you a chance. It is this home, this family that really cares about the future of each child.

On behalf of me and our entire family, I express my gratitude to Peeteli and all my friends from abroad, both for the material help, but also for what has become the most important thing in my life. For making me a successful woman, a healthy and good person. I thank God that he has saved children and people through the hand of Peeteli. Open your heart to Peeteli family and you will feel the love. I believe that every child, teenager makes the right choice. With this support, you will reach all heights and understand how God loves you through this family. This is a great team and I remember how they helped me! And I sincerely love each and every one of them who are part of this big family. I remember everything and I am grateful! Zarina Zandfelds
